Groups Lessons
For Ages 5 1/2
and up
Students
must have full digital piano, keyboard or piano and rental or purchase
of a Roland Mt-90 is strongly recommended.
Demonstrations
of the MT-90 take place on first class, rentals can be handled through
Kennelly Keys music in Lynnwood.
Lessons
run from September through the end of June
Summer
camps are available in June and July, please check our summer class schedule
for more information.
There
are two recitals a year, a recording studio makes a professional CD of
each recital, available for purchase.

In
each class students will learn to read and write music, learn to play numerous
songs, experience ensemble playing, learn about a variety of different
instruments and their sounds, music theory, fun musical games and rhythm
activities. Your children will love to come to piano lessons!
Piano
classes are small, and are grouped according to age and ability.
Classes are offered for ages 5 1/2 and up, adult classes are available
as well.
The
students will be learning about the latest technology with digital pianos.
They will utilize in class and at home midi disk which play full orchestral
accompaniment to the songs they are learning.
Students
progress rapidly in a group setting due to the positive peer pressure and
the fact that the classes provide a learning environment that is fun and
relaxed. Friendships develop and the joy of sharing and playing music
together is experienced in a group. Children who learn to play in a group
setting learn a better sense of rhythm and counting and it has also been
proven to have lower drop out rates versus private lessons.
The
Bodge Music Academy is one of the largest studios in the Northwest but
has a small teaching staff. All classes are taught only by the director
or one of the other teachers that has extensive training in group piano
to insure that each class is of high quality education.
