BLAST OFF WITH PIANO!

This is a great pre-reading sampler course for the piano and is designed to introduce children to the piano and get them excited for the fall for piano lessons. Children will experience in each class: ensemble playing, reading and playing rhythm patterns, theory games, and piano geography. Students play on state of the art Roland digital pianos and will have a blast using the technology in class. The last class is a recital of all the songs learned in the camp!

Ages: 5-9 for children new to piano only

BLAST OFF WITH GUITAR - NEW!!!!!

This class is a method in which to learn the guitar in a fast way (speed playing). Children will receive a very unique Book called Speed playing the guitar, in which children will able to quickly be playing their favorite songs. They will be excited about the guitar as they will be able to play a song the very first day! Children will learn to tune their guitars, and to bar several basic chords to play several songs. Children must have their own guitars for this class, and must be new students to guitar as this is a beginning class. Great way to get children excited for lessons in the fall!

ZOO TRAIN

Your toddler and the train make a natural match-always on the move. Tag along this summer with a traveling zoo train. Bring your own stuffed animals for the petting zoo. Wear long white socks on your hands for polar bear paws and learn about real animals in the zoo. Sing songs for clapping time, and use music to help toddlers regulate emotions. Children will enjoy singing, dancing, parachute time, arts and crafts, instrument play and more.

CREATURES AT THE OCEAN

Children are introduced to a number of whimsical waterfront friends, including: the seagull, crab, dolphin, octopus, and whale. Beach fun is the focus with beach ball play, pretend-kit play, sand play, and parachute simulated waves! Throughout each lesson children explore ocean movements such as whales spouting sing to delightful music including a lively calypso tune, hear an original ocean creature story, make unique ocean crafts and make music with delightfully unique instruments such as clam shell castanets, and more. A ocean snack is provided during class.

CREATURES IN MY BACKYARD

Encourages children to explore their environment and make new discoveries. Through music, movement and dance, storytelling, instrument play and exploration, and craft projects, your children will uncover the creatures living in their own backyard - from birds, turtles, squirrels, and rabbits to flowers, caterpillars and bumblebees! A snack is provided during class.

CONFETTI DAYS

Let your child discover a world of celebration! Themes include Clowning Around, Looby loo, Carousel, Follow the leader, and Dancing Colors. A snack is provided during class.

TELL ME A TALE - NEW!!

Through storytelling, children will develop an early awareness of rhythm, movement, singing, and drama. Each lesson features a new tale from around the world, explored through multi-instrument and multicultural elements. All told, it's an around-the-imagination adventure of the greatest stories from Europe, Malaysia, South Africa, and more. Instrument making and craft projects, parachute play, instrument play and exploration and singing games and dances are a part of each class! Snack provided during class as part of the theme of that lesson for the day

ADVENTURES AROUND THE WORLD

Children will delight in taking an imaginary trip Around the World with Kindermusik, exploring the exciting cultures of Germany, Japan, Africa, England and Mexico. Around the World activities incorporate music, movement, dance, drama and instruments native to each country, such as the German polka dance and a Japanese den den drum. Children will also participate in arts and crafts activities such as making an African decorative mask and Mexican piñatas. Classes also include, story time, instrument play and exploration, parachute activities, and other musical activities. A Snack is also provided during class.

PEEK-A-BOO! I LOVE YOU!

Newborn to 1.5 years -- More than just a curious story, Mother Goose games like peek-a-boo help babies understand language. In this special camp, uncover more ways to say "I love you" using American Sign Language, soap bubbles, and parent-baby dances. Plus, parents can meet with other newborns and families in the community and learn how music improves the child development process.
